What are Surge Chips?

Surge Chips allow you to increase your starting chips in selected scheduled tournaments. For example, if a tournament has 10,000 starting chips, redeeming Surge Chips will allow you to increase it up to a maximum of 11,000 starting chips and give you an immediate advantage over your opponents.

How do I earn Surge Chips?

The only way to earn Surge Chips is to complete Missions. Check the Missions page regularly for Missions that award Surge Chips and complete the challenges shown. We’ll add your Surge Chips to your Surge Chips Balance as soon as you’ve completed each Mission.

How do I use my Surge Chips?

Visit the tournaments tab and check for tournaments that allow redemption of Surge Chips. The option to use your Surge Chips will be shown on the registration screen.

How many Surge Chips can I use from the balance?

If your Surge Chips balance is less than the maximum amount of Surge Chips allowed in the tournament, then you must use all your Surge Chips. You’ll receive one tournament chip for every Surge Chip. For example – if you hold 450 Surge Chips, and the tournament allows a maximum of 1,000 Surge Chips, then you’ll receive an additional 450 starting chips.

If your Surge Chips balance is equal to, or greater than, the maximum amount of Surge Chips allowed in the tournament then you must redeem the maximum amount. For example – if you hold 2,450 Surge Chips, and the tournament allows a maximum of 1,000 Surge Chips, then you’ll receive an additional 1,000 starting chips and your new Surge Chip balance will be 1,450.

Can I choose the amount of Surge Chips to redeem when registering for a tournament?

No. We will automatically remove the maximum amount of Surge Chips from your balance every time you opt to use them.

Can I purchase additional Surge Chips using the cash in my account?

Right now, we only award Surge Chips via Missions.

Can I redeem my Surge Chips in all available tournaments?

No. Surge Chips can only be redeemed in selected tournaments. Furthermore, we do not allow users to redeem Surge Chips in any Fast Fortune or Sit & Go Tournaments.

Can Surge Chips be exchanged for cash?

Surge Chips hold zero cash value and may not be exchanged for cash or any other reward.

Do Surge Chips expire?

Your Surge Chips do not expire. When you have completed Missions and earned your Surge Chips, they will reside in your Surge Chips balance until you choose to redeem them.
